Oppholdet i Afrika resulterte blant annet i to CD utgivelser med bandet Uhambo. Etter å ha utforsket musikk fra store deler av verden – inkludert prosjekter i Pakistan og Palestina endte hun opp med å gi ut sin første solo CD med fokus på ur-instrumentet bukkehorn.

This is Snorre Bjerck's debut CD, a terrific production where the groove, vocal elements and an intense nerve create world music you have never heard before. On sale from October 24, 2006.
Those who are interested in world music may have experienced this fantastic percussionist on stage - either in the group Transjoik - or in one of his own projects. He has developed a distinctive style where his treatment of percussion instruments from around the world, distinctive vocal use and electronics merge into a wonderful mix. This CD is his debut as a solo artist.

A meeting between Transjoik´'s electronic world music and Pakistani qawwali singer Sher Miandad Khan.
His now deceased relative, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, brought qawwali out into the wider world through collaboration with, among others Peter Gabriel and Jan Garbarek. Sher Miandad carries on the legacy in his own way and is considered one of the greatest singers in this tradition in his home country, Pakistan.

Transjoik has been around for over ten years, and Uja Nami is their 4th album. The group are: Nils-Olav Johansen on vocals and guitar, Tor Haugerud and Snorre Bjerck on percussion and the group's founder Frode Fjellheim on synth and vocals. In recent years, they have toured both here at home in Scandinavia and abroad in Europe, the USA and Canada. Among journalists and the public, they have been described as one of the most exciting projects in the world where their own folk music meets new urban expressions.
